Although my copy isn't terribly pressed but it is indeed noisy in the quiet parts (first seconds of turn to dust and the transition form Lisbon to Silk) All in all my copy sounds good, I think it is just acceptable but not brilliant pressing wise. Turn to dust sounds amazing once the initial noise is gone, what a beautiful voice Ellie has.

While the songs themselves are awesome, I can't say the same about the pressing. Tried this twice from Amazon. Just looking at it there was a noticeable warp on the first record (it played, but still that warp) and the second record looked like someone used a BB gun on it, dents galore. Both records very noisy even after cleaning. Sent it back and tried again. Well this time the second record had a warp that actually skips. Again both records noisy. YMMV, but very disappointing.

I think the first 500 were gold. I just got an email saying they are sending the autographed print (which was previously thought to only be for the UK sales) this week. When I originally purchased I thought I would get the autograph, so it will be good to finally get it (if you are in the first 500).

Arith

This is the best album I have bought in the last year. An instant favorite. It is like a mixture of Smashing pumpkins in their heyday with some Lush and maybe even some Horrors. Great songwriting, never overstating a hook. This band has a lot of potential.

Rleillin

potential sadly not realised on their follow-up LP, which is patchy in the extreme. This album is great though, as is most of the rare stuff from their early days.
